Personal Memorial Portrait
Personal Memorial Portrait
A personal artwork created to honour the animal who remains part of your family story.
A More Personal Way to Remember Your Companion
I create each memorial portrait from your chosen photographs and the memories you share with me. The process is centred on the details that made your animal special, from a familiar expression to a distinctive marking or favourite presence. The finished piece is designed to feel intimate, recognisable, and true to the bond you shared.
You can choose a meaningful reference image and tell me what you would most like the portrait to convey. I work with care and sensitivity, keeping the experience calm while developing a considered tribute that can be displayed, gifted, or kept as a private reminder of a much-loved life.
Ideal For
Remembering a recently lost companion
Honouring an animal's life and legacy
Creating a meaningful family keepsake
Gifting comfort to someone grieving
How It Works
Share Their Story: Send photographs and tell me about the details that made your animal unique.
Plan The Portrait: I discuss the composition and artistic direction with you before I begin.
Create The Tribute: I carefully develop the portrait into a finished memorial artwork.

Classes & Workshops
With Angelica at Spill the Paint Art Studio, Petawawa. I teach the way I wish someone had taught me — small classes, real techniques, warm drinks on, and zero pressure to be 'good at art.' Every class is limited to 6 students (5 for kids' classes), all materials are included, and beginners are genuinely welcome. Come as you are; leave with something you made and a little more confidence than you came with. — Angelica

About the Artist
I'm an artist working in oil, watercolour, and graphite, with a deep love for creating custom commissions. My business is built on genuine connection: with soft, thoughtful brushstrokes, I bring special memories to life — beloved pets, people, and places — and transform them into meaningful works of art. Alongside commissions, I offer prints and original collections, and behind the scenes I'm developing illustration work and children's books.
