About the Artist

I'm an artist working in oil, watercolour, and graphite, with a deep love for creating custom commissions. My business is built on genuine connection: with soft, thoughtful brushstrokes, I bring special memories to life — beloved pets, people, and places — and transform them into meaningful works of art. Alongside commissions, I offer prints and original collections, and behind the scenes I'm developing illustration work and children's books.

Art from the heart, for the heart

My journey began in childhood — I was always creating — and by my teenage years I was drawing portraits and selling my art in my community. That early encouragement shaped everything that followed. Over time I've realized this work isn't just about creating something beautiful; it's about listening. I hold space for my clients' most cherished memories, learn their stories, and pour that emotion into each piece.

Pet portraits are especially close to my heart. They often include custom colours, symbols, special dates, or background elements that carry deep meaning — every detail matters. Each artwork is handcrafted with great care and shipped thoughtfully; I've always used Canada Post, and I've never had a piece lost or damaged. That trust and consistency are part of the service. I also prioritize timely delivery, especially for gifts and meaningful dates like Christmas — my clients know I care not only about the quality of their piece, but about what it represents.

A family business, in every sense

As a military spouse and stay-at-home mom, I've built a business that supports my family while teaching my children the value of following their dreams. They're part of it all — helping at markets, watching the creative process firsthand. The more the business grows, the more we're able to enjoy together: sports, activities, family trips — all while showing my kids how a heart-centred business can thrive.

Giving back

Each year, I offer one free custom commission to a deserving member of my community. I treat every commission not just as a product, but as a meaningful monument — crafted with intention, never generated by AI. It's a connection between two humans, captured in paint and pencil.

For me, art isn't just a service — it's a way to spread love, healing, and connection. Supporting my business means supporting handmade, heartfelt work, and helping a local family thrive. With your support, I look forward to growing what I offer and touching even more lives through the power of art.

Fun fact 🐰

I'm a lifelong rabbit person. My first-ever pet was a white rabbit named Gamble, and today our family has four rabbits of our own — Butterscotch, Charles, Leo, and a very fluffy white senior gentleman we recently adopted. My Instagram is even named for them: a group of rabbits is called a fluffle (@angelicas_fluffle). Beside this is my white rabbit painting — a subject I will never tire of, and the star of the children's books I'm quietly writing behind the scenes.
